When planning your safari to South Africa, you may find family, friends, or spouses, wanting to join you on your safari, either as observers or travelers themselves. Over the years we have found that many observers are fanatical hunters, but prefer not always pulling the trigger or spending every day out in the field. For this reason John X Safaris offers exclusive tours.

Our exclusive luxury tours are offered within the Eastern and Western Cape, providing our clients the very best personalized service, starting from the planning stages of your tour and continuing throughout your time in South Africa. We pride ourselves on our flexibility, providing you with numerous options to tailor make your dream vacation.

Choose from either day-trip activities surrounding our hunting areas, or multiple day adventures down the Garden Route and onto Cape Town, or vice versa. All trips and tours are designed to generate a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty, abundant scenery, historical rich-culture, and spectacular wildlife, all along indulging in the best adventure activities South Africa has to offer.

John X Safaris will plan all pre and post hunt tours, including day-trips surrounding our hunting areas as to best combine both hunting and day-trips. Once you’ve booked your hunt and decided that you would like to include a tour or day-trip, then feel free to contact Trish directly.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful country!

""Good effort, especially considering some tough weather conditions. Very enjoyable hunts in nice habitat – good attention to detail of hunter preferences. We’ve had a good time!"

This was my second safari to South Africa and it was very different from my first. The quality of game was outstanding but mostly what stands out from my first safari was how hard we worked for the animals we harvested. Aside from the outstanding hunting accommodations, food and overall hospitality was nothing short of excellent. I am excited to see the action on video. Thanks Carl and all his staff for making this such an awesome vacation.

"South Africa - I came, I saw, I heard, and felt you. You gave me goose bumps. I had the privilege to hunt with two great PH's. You took me out on those great plains and mountain sides. And gave me a hunt to be remembered for life! I really want to thank all I met during this journey - Staff, Trackers, PH's, Family members and friends. Thank You!"

Carl, unbelievable safari! This safari was to introduce my son to hunting Africa and share with my wife Haylee the beauty and splendor that is Africa and you did that in spades as expected. I wasn't sure how you could have topped my previous 2 safaris with you but you did. The 54" Kudu and monster Eland are ones for the ages! I have said it before and I will say it again: my friend you and your team at John X Safaris are simply the best. See you in Tanzania in 2017
