The world famous Garden Route, running from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town, or vice versa, is our choice route for tours. Choose from either our tailor made 7 or 4 day Garden Route options, ensuring you experience the best on offer.

7 Day Garden Route Tour

This tour is perfect for a family vacation, either pre or post hunt with John X Safaris. Seven days are more than enough to cater to every individual’s needs within the group, ensuring each one experiences what they wish to on their tour.

The starting and finishing points for the 7 day Garden Route tour will be at John X Safaris base camp and either Port Elizabeth/Cape Town airports, or vice versa.

4 Day Garden Route Tour

Our 4 day/3 night tour from John X Safaris to Plettenberg Bay/Knysna and back to John X Safaris is one often taken by observers wishing to break away from hunting for a few days. "South Africa beautiful and awesome. It's people friendly and welcoming. John X Safaris owners and team demonstrate the very essence of SA. South Africa - it's not an adventure, but an "ADDICTION". We are already planning our next trip. The hard decision is what animals to harvest, easy decision the outfitter. Carl & Trish, Greg, Bless, and the entire staff made our trip unbelievable.
PH, Greg Hayes, put Jim on game that every hunter hopes to see and harvest. Experiencing a Kudu stalk from 800 meters away, resulting in a trophy of a life time was a certain highlight! Unbelievable Nyala taken within 34 yards - another great harvest. Watching Bless and Jock tracking game through the thick brush was indescribable. Bushbuck, Impala, Blesbuck, Springbuck and Warthog finished of one memorable hunter's experience."
